G4S
Africa Risk Management business division requires the services of Close
Protection Officers (CPOs) in the Gauteng region on a temporary
contracting basis.
The relevant scope of work will vary
from the provision of Close Protection to VIP’s and dignitaries, mobile
tactical support teams, high risk escort teams, secure aviation
transfers, event security, mobile training teams and support into
African countries. The business unit is experiencing rapid expansion and
may need to employ full time personnel in the near future. G4S is an
international company with a licensed presence in 26 countries on the
African continent and maintains the highest business and operational
standards.

Role Responsibility:
The
nature of Close Protection work is such that circumstances are at time
challenging, involving long hours worked and often over weekends. The
successful candidate is expected to project a professional image and
bearing and should be able to work in a corporate environment with the
following responsibilities:
Principle profiling
Advance Planning (include linear mapping)
Security Planning and conducting risk surveys
Ability of attend to operational orders
Reporting operational/ incident report
The Ideal Candidate:
Physically fit and in good health
In possession of a Firearms Competency Certificate
Registered with PSIRA as a security officer
Certified Close Protection Officer
Educational training and Development Assessor, Moderator and Facilitator (optional but highly advantageous)
Valid license
No criminal record
