Introduction
I have a client looking for a Operations Manager for the West Rand District, the overall purpose of this position is to ensure the posting of Security Officers, that all site specific security requirements are adhered to and that the clients needs are effciently and professionally met at all times Minimum Requirements
Matric Certificate
PSIRA Grade A registration
Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management and its requirements
People management, basic experience and knowledge in HR/IR
Sound planning, administration, interpersonal communication and client liason skills
Good report writing skills
Drivers licence and own vehicle
No criminal record
Computer Literacy (incident report writing)
Investigation Skills
Entry level onsite Guard Training Skills
Be prepared to work regular and overtime hours
A minimum of 3 years experience in the security industry
Job Specification
Key Areas of Responsability will include :
Ensuring that contractual requirements are met as stipulated by client
Supervising and coaching security officers to ensure that duties are diligently carried out
Designing and managing the duty rosters to ensure efficient posting of security officers
Performing risk surveys, writing reports and submitting recommendations to the client regarding potential risks and the improvement of services
Dealing with all required administration matters
Liasing daily with the financial instituations department services manager on various operational issues
Submitting relevant weekly/monthly incident and general reports as required by management
