Security Control Room Operator WANTED

Established security company in the Southern Suburbs requires the services of a control room operator, subject to the following requirements:-
* Experience in a similar or related position (training will be provided where necessary);
* Computer literate (proficient in the use of Windows-based computer packages);
* Well spoken and experienced in dealing with clients telephonically;
* Fully bilingual (English and Afrikaans) with good command (both oral and written) of both languages;
* Own transport or residing in close proximity to public transport;
* Detail-oriented;
* Ability to cope well under pressure;
* Age 25+;
* Resident in the Southern Suburbs;
* Be able to work shifts;
* Contactable references essential.

The position entails the following duties:-
* Monitoring of alarms;
* Liaising with clients telephonically on alarm activations;
* Dispatch of armed response personnel where necessary;
* Keeping detailed records in Occurrence Book;
* Liaising with SAPS where necessary;
* Liaising with armed response, bicycle patrol personnel and guards via radio;
* Loading of clients onto system and maintaining client records;
* Liaising with staff where necessary;
* Administration of armed response, bicycle patrol and guard reports, duty sheets and related documentation.
