Job Summary:
THIS FANTASTIC UP MARKET HOTEL SEEKS AN EXPERIENCED ASSISTANT F&B MANAGER TO JOIN THEIR DYNAMIC TEAM. This position requires a technically focused, detail orientated and highly organised leader who can operate in a meticulous and deliberate manner to help ensure the safety and security of the Hotel’s premises, property, employees and guests.
Minimum Experience or Qualification:
· Grade 12
· Security Grade C
· Must have at least 2 years experience in a control room.
· Knowledge of fire systems and security alarms
· Drivers licence advantageous
· Presentable
· Good command of the English language with solid verbal and written communication skills
· Able to work flexible extended hours: week-ends, public holidays, night shift
Key Performance Objectives:
· To patrol and monitor the premises ensuring the health, safety and security of Hotel property, guests and staff; anticipating any risks and reporting on them.
· To perform regular searches of employees and their belongings on exiting the property; as well as of employee lockers, vehicles and the staff transport.
· To safeguard the Hotel’s keys and floats, ensuring that the signing out and issuing procedure is correctly adhered to.
· To investigate security and fire alarms and if required action according to the Hotel’s fire and emergency plan.
· To complete reports for all incidents and accidents on the Hotel property; and where require investigating matters further.
· To keep detailed records of all security operations; reporting on any irregularities as well as any defects on security equipment.
