Job Summary
The Security Operations Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing all site security operations, the Tactical Operations Centers (TOCs), Intelligence Operations, Personal Security Teams, and Flight Security in accordance with Program SOW requirements, contractual guidelines, and
DynCorp policies. The Security Operations Manager is responsible for enforcing all applicable Policies and Procedures and is directly responsible for the overall Security Operations at each facility.

Principal Accountabilities
(Typical duties include the following, although specific duties vary by assignment or contract.)
Responsible for ensuring the Program’s Intelligence Operations Cell and Tactical Operations Center operate effectively in compliance with the SOW and Program procedures.
Manages and oversees all Site Security operations, Personal Security Team operations and Flight Security operations to ensure safe transportation for Program employees and subcontractors, and 100% compliance with the SOW and Program procedures.
Ensures all security personnel are properly screened and vetted, and that they meet all job description requirements.
Ensures continuous training of personnel to attain high standards in all forms of security operations.
Coordinates with DPM LMSS to ensure synchronization of operations at the Program worksites.
Maintains thorough knowledge of SOW requirements ensures 100% compliance through an aggressive monitoring, inspection, and reporting program.
Conducts planning, coordination, and execution of all security operations at each facility in accordance with the SOW and program procedures.
Provides accurate and timely security surveys and reports which include but is not limited to perimeter defense, management of security personnel both static and mobile, condition and maintenance of allocated resources, training, and other reports deemed necessary to the security mission.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge & Skills
Excellent communications skills at all levels; ability to communicate fluently in the English language.
Technical and tactical proficiency with the various small arms used in support of company operations.
Ability to operate motor vehicles of various weights in a tactical manner both on and off-road.
Ability to prepare and present briefs detailing the mobile and static mission at his/her facility.
Knowledge of various computer applications such as Microsoft applications (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access).
In-depth knowledge of the employment of firearms, and security equipment being used in static and mobile security operations.
Ability to encourage team work and the capacity to implement team building through developmental counseling and periodic performance assessments.
Additional knowledge/skills may be required by contract or assignment.

Experience & Education
Minimum of five (5) years Military or Law Enforcement experience with a preference toward Combat Arms, SWAT and intelligence operations.
This experience and background may have been gained in any of the following organizations:
Military Special Forces/Special Operations Assignments
Military Infantry / Combat Arms Service
Commercial executive protection services with military or police background
Law Enforcement experience (Military Police/Criminal Investigations Division; or an Emergency Services, SWAT type unit of a Law Enforcement Agency)
U.S. Department of State Diplomatic Security Service
U.S. Secret Service
U.S. Federal Agencies, i.e., FBI (former special agents with protective security background)
Previous experience in PSD and site security operations; this experience may include operations at a detention or corrections facility.
Candidates must have a minimum of five (5) years management and/or supervisory experience.
Candidate should possess a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in High Threat Environment.
Four (4) year Bachelors of Arts or Bachelors of Science degree or equivalent; each required year of education may be substituted for two (2) years of relative experience.
Additional experience/education may be required by contract or assignment.

Physical Requirements/Working Environment
Place of duty and environmental conditions can be extremely austere, harsh, and work can be performed under hostile and life-threatening conditions.
Candidate must pass pre-deployment medical screening as required by the contract.
Candidate must be able to pass both weapons qualifications and physical fitness course in accordance with statement of work or program requirements.

Travel
Travel to/from duty locations within country of assignment
