Introduction 
 Reporting to the Security Operations Manager, the incumbent will be responsible to implement and maintain a security and compliance function in line with legislated and procedural requirements, focusing on investigations and audits 
Minimum Requirements 
Education  
Matric/ Grade 12 
Management Diploma or equivalent preferred 
 Experience:  
Minimum 5 years Investigations or Loss Control experience 
Minimum 10 years Security experience of which 5 at middle management level 
Required to be licensed or registered as a gaming key employee to secure employment in the position 
Required to be registered with PSIRA 
 Skills and Knowledge  
Leadership Orientation Program or equivalent 
Criminal or forensic type investigation and administration related thereof 
Gaming knowledge advantageous 
Sound IR Knowledge 
CCTV Knowledge 
Work well under pressure 
Previous Supervisory Experience 
 
 
Job Specification 
Ensure reports meet stakeholder needs and assists in mitigating risks. 
ICS, SOP’S AND SLA requirements have been adhered to Service level contracts are adhered. 
Ensure regular mandated inspections have been conducted as per SOP and legislative. Requirements. 
Audit plan in line with business requirements/risk priorities. 
Audit structure as per industry/best practice standards.   
Intelligence files updated with relevant information/distributed to all parties concerned. 
Ensure successful investigation results and risks identified and mitigated. 
Adhoc audits and reports address the business the business exposure to risk. 
Online submission and reporting of STRs to FIC as per SOP.  
Liaison with police and prosecuting authorities achieves the department objectives. 
Banned/Excluded persons data base maintained and updated as per SOP. 
Staffing competencies and staffing levels meet operational requirements. 
Employee promotions compared with bid commitment levels and equity, and in line with current salaries. 
Ensure staff training is aligned to strategic plans, e.g. skills shortages, succession plans, talent management. 
Performance reviews conducted as per unit SOP and HR policy. 
All incidents are forwarded and followed up to relevant departments as per SOP.
