G4S Cash Solutions has a vacancy for aTSO based at the Port Shepstone branch.


Role Responsibility:
KPA
PERFORMANCE STANDARDS
  1. Security at the Premises
·         Ensure that existing security procedures are maintained at all times
·         Ensure highest level of access control at property and building perimeters and internal security areas
·         Ensure that loading procedures are strictly adhered to at all times
·         Ensure maintenance of perimeter fencing, walling and lighting
·         Conduct regular after hour security checks of the premises and gate guards
·         Assume key holder responsibilities on a rotary basis a directed by the Branch Security Officer
·         TSO must re-seal all defected/damaged consignments in CMC with relevant party under camera
2.       Vehicles ,Equipment and Standard Operating Procedures
·         Ensure that equipment used by operational staff is correctly utilized and in sound working condition
·         Responsible for the issuing and control of firearms, ammunition and seals to Crew
·         Maintain an accurate Firearms and Ammunition and Kit register
·         Ensure that all firearms have current licenses and firearm permits
·         Control the issue of identity documents, firearm permits and HHT and maintain a register thereof
·         Ensure that security systems and procedures laid down in standing orders in respect of banking halls (3rd men) pay out services and standby guard services are strictly adhered to
·         Ensure that all armored vehicles are checked before leaving he Base and such checks are recorded
·         Provide armed escort services to armored vehicles as determined from time to time by the BSO
·         Conduct departmental or criminal investigations as directed from time to time by the BSO
3.       Management of Staff
·         Ensure that the image of the Branch and Company is maintained at the highest level possible and that the moral and security awareness of staff is maintained
·         Ensure that vehicle crew adhere strictly to all security measures and maintain a high level of systems and procedures while operating within a Mobile operation, Walking operations and bank and client contact.

The Ideal Candidate:
  • Grade 12/Matric Certificate
  • Computer literate
  • Familiar with report writing and accidents reports
  • SIRA Grade B certification and registration
  • CIT training and certification
  • A minimum of three years’ experience in CIT operations is preferable
  • Previous experience as a TSO would be an advantage.
  • Having knowledge of the MDS interlocking system and the basic repair thereof would be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of CPC’s and vehicle interlocking systems
  • Knowledge of ISO quality management and its requirements
  • A valid driving licence, preferably (Code 10)
