Permanent management level position at Private in the Safety, Security & Defence (Security) industry.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
Oversee Operations in the following areas: Control room, Supervision, Vehicles/Radio’s, Uniform Issues, Postings, Discipline
Control Room:-
Co-ordinate briefing and debriefing, minute meetings daily and/or weekly with team.
You will ensure that all our sites are covered at specific times for Day and Night shifts.
All site rosters will be co-ordinated by yourself in-conjunction with the payroll clerk and issued no later than the 23rd of the month, effective from the 26th.
Manage patrol reports via Sentinal and Bloodhound Systems
Manage hourly Radio reports
Manager Occurrence book entries/ incident reports and relevant action to be taken
Manage all pay queries and forward such pay queries to Payroll
Manage all uniform request/issue/deduction
Manage co-ordinate all personnel (Security officer) replacements from sites, ensuring protocols are followed; criminal checks, SARS, Banking Details.
Manage shift rosters of controllers
Manage vehicle tracker system/all radio’s – Retroactive Investigations.
Manage vehicle 1st and last parades
Manage damage/accident reports/radio repairs
Manage fleet maintenance/services
Manage traffic fines/deductions for both vehicles and radio’s
All supervisors in your team will report directly to you.
Co-ordinate briefing and debriefing, minute meetings daily
Manage supervisory visits to all sites
Manage feedback from supervisory visit sheets in terms of requirements from sites such as radio/torch/uniform inventories. Place orders where needed.
Manage the discipline from sites visited and action hearing notifications
Liaise directly with the Uniforms Clerk with regards to uniform Issues and Returns.
All uniforms to be issued and returns to be dealt with.
All uniform deductions and all documentation returned to the Uniforms Clerk for processing.
Ensure that you charge all offenders (Security Guards/Site Supervisors) who are in breach of Company disciplinary Code and/or Policy and Procedures
Receive all Written Warnings from the PA to Mr. Shepherd which you must ensure is issued to all the guards concerned and the signed copies returned accordingly.
Liaise hearing dates with the IR/HR for the discipline of the security guards.
Ensure that all the sites are posted on time.
Co-ordinate all casual posting of guards, ensure accounts have been updated for billing purposes.
Ensure that your sites are visited at least once a week.
Ensure that the standard of uniforms is maintained on your sites.
Complete a daily site visit sheet and forward to PA, copy Mr. Goldstone.
Conduct investigations of all incidents at your sites (Statement and docket compilation)
Ensure that all DARs are collected from all your sites timeously.
Ensure all officers receive their payslips t
Handle first line pay queries before submitting to HQ. Feedback of pay queries to security personnel
