Established large company is looking for a mature and assertive person as a Security Manager - ensure full control of all security related areas and processes. The company is situated in Heriotdale on the border of Bedfordview, Germiston, Alberton & Joburg CBD.
Minimum Requirements
Matric, plus a National Diploma in Security Risk Management or equivalent. .
Minimum 5 years Experience
PSIRA registration; certificate in conventional physical security and crime prevention; certificate in advanced security operations
Training in fire fighting; conducting investigations; intelligence; fraud awareness and prevention.
Computer Literate
Job Specification
Organise the security function at all levels (strategic, tactical and operational) in order to create and maintain an acceptable level of security on numerous sites
Manage a Security Team
Work closely with Group Security and Brandhouse Security to optimise site security.
Prevents theft and malicious damage to company property and consequent loss of assets and revenue by ensuring that security systems and procedures are in place.
Ensures adequate information protection to minimise the risk of organisation’s data being lost, compromised or stolen.
Complete an audit of personel hours and wages weekly
To advise/ support the Management Team, on all security arrangements/ issues regarding all personnel, assets and activities, based on a thorough risk identification/ assessment daily.
