- Lead the implementation of Key Group strategies like the G4S Way, agreeing implementation timeframes, supporting adoption initiatives and measuring performance.
- Undertake regular business reviews, developing and sharing examples of best practice, managing and auditing operational processes and ensuring adherence to quality standards.
- Act as the Operational lead on any collaborative projects with Cash & Secure SEC’s and other G4S businesses, including multi- million pound capex projects and security related matters, adhering to Group approval and consultation process.
- Lead the expansion and diversification of the business into new markets and new product lines through selective acquisition and /or green –field developments, managing the operational integration and development of such projects.
- Develop, implement and manage the standardization of Manned Security and Cash Solutions across the region, in compliance with legislation, company policies, processes and procedures- to include uniforms, site equipment, etc.
- Drive and manage Net Promotion Score or similar customer satisfaction measurement.
- Set minimum Service standards / key service non-negotiable for Morocco Operations
- Agree and achieve measurable business efficiency improvements.
- Involve and coordinate country business unit managers and other internal resources to ensure optimum corporate performance levels in meeting customer requirements and to ensure the development of the Cash Solutions business across the region.
- Assist country business units to develop and enhance financial and service delivery performance by improving operational efficiency, controlling costs, reducing external and internal cash losses and introducing consistent SLA and KPI Measurement across the region.
- Ensure optimum labour efficiency, monitoring performance and trends and implementing operating systems such as Easy Roster and Saturn.
- Oversee the standardization of manned guarding and cash services by liaising with Group and coaching country and operational management across the region.
- Work closely with other executives to prioritize security initiatives and spending based on appropriate risk management and / or financial methodology.
- Effective management of the development and implementation of Morocco security policy, standards, guidelines and procedures to ensure ongoing maintenance.
- Assist country business unit to comply with Group’S Mandatory Security Principles and auditing requirements.
- Ensure cash reconciliation and balancing processes are in place in all cash businesses.
- Integrate health and safety measures in all operational procedures to pre-empt and reduce injuries and fatalities of employees.
- Manage on a dotted line basis Operations / Risk Security Directors / Managers in the African cash businesses.
- Work closely with Group Security on risk reduction initiatives and their requirements for African businesses.
- Work closely with procurement to control vehicle purchases in Africa, ensuring all vehicles bought are fit for purpose.
- Building relationships with stakeholders, including customers and local law enforcement, to ensure that risk is managed appropriately by external stakeholders.
- Build operational people capability across the African businesses.
- Bilingual in French and English
- Five years’ experience in security management (either armed forces, police services or similar) with exposure to manned security services
- Computer literate. Proficiency in MS Office. Easy Roster and VIP advantageous
- Successful completion of High School and a relevant tertiary qualification
- Valid Driver’s licence
- Strong commitment, leadership and management skills
