The role:
This is a specialist investigation role and will be responsible for conducting investigations at Operation level. The role reports to an Investigation Superintendent / Senior Superintendent / PS Manager and is expected to apply best practice investigation and surveillance techniques in order to monitor high risk situations, apprehend criminals and investigate breaches of security. Personal risk is a factor in the role due to the nature of criminal investigations.

- Use and control of Firearms and ammunition to legislation
- Application of security and communication technology
- Minimum Grade 12
- Working towards Protection Services related degree/diploma
- Two years' experience in this role or similar role (normally in Police Force)
- Registered with PSIRA
- Literate in English
- Valid First Aid Certificate
- Fire arm certificate
- Valid Code 8 drivers' licenses
