 Job description:
 Reporting to the Head of Security you will act as a focal point for 
advice, support, guidance and training on security risk management 
matters.
Assess risks and threats continuously and conduct security 
risk assessments, making recommendations aimed at protecting assets 
people, property, information and reputation.
Develop and deliver security awareness programmes and investigate, reporting objectively on findings and results of 
investigations and make relevant recommendations to business management.
Liaises
 with relevant parties both internally and externally, participate in 
information sharing and network building to exchange security related 
information and advise the Risk Manager and Executives on security 
matters and trends.
Responsible for risk reduction, loss control, theft reduction, crime investigation and prevention.
Provide travel security advice to staff travelling internationally, as well as maintaining staff security awareness programs.
Set and manage divisional budgets with responsibility for recovery operating models and
managing staff.
 
 Candidate profile: Must be South African passport Holder
Tertiary qualification in Security Risk Management and Investigations or equivalent.
In house training in similar disciplines supported by External Security Training would be an advantage. 
Member of professional security org (OSAC)
Demonstrable personal commercial experience in the field of Security Risk Management and incident investigation. 
A good working experience and exposure to criminal and civil law.
A minimum of at least 2 years� experience in the commercial security field.
Strong
 communication, interpersonal as well as professional skills to develop 
and maintain effective internal and external relationships. 
Demonstrable access to establish law enforcement networks and other related agencies.
