Job Summary
The Safety and Security Manager is responsible for the safety and security of guests, employees and the corporation's assets.He reports directly to HR & Talent Development Manager and assist him/her in the implementation of hotel policies and procedures. He coordinates all aspects of the hotel's security programs with his Direct Manager (HR & Talent Development Manager ) all Executive Committee and Department Heads
The responsibilities of Safety & Security Manager are as follows.
To provide a maximum Safety & Security service to hotel guests, hotel property, and staff in a friendly professional and efficient manner and also to ensure that Sheraton Krabi Beach Resort international hotel standards are being met and supervise his team to reach to the target planed and prevent the loss.
Duties & Responsibilities
Advice his Direct Manager (HR & Talent Development Manager) Re: Loss Control procedures for the various departments throughout the hotel.
Review , Revise and / or Update the Security procedures as necessary according to the Hotels & Resorts Standards.
Plan or support for any Department activities related and also including the Sub- contract security firm.
Assist Human Resources Department with Pre employment checks on Employees hired in critical areas when consulted.
Administer the employment of all Safety & Security personnel.
Develop job descriptions. Standards and task lists for his team (Asst. Safety & Security Manager, Senior Security Shift leaders and Security officers, Security Supervisors and guards.)
Ensure that the Hotel safety & security personnel and Contract guards are in proper uniform and performing their duties in a professional manner.
Supervise and Inspect or do Hotel Patrolling & Outlet Inspection and raise it up if found some area failed.
Clearly Understand and provide the Command Centre in case of Emergency occurring ( On and Off Site Command Centre.)
Improve or solve the Weakness Points that found by any recommend from Auditors , Excoms or Dhs, such and need to having a earlier preparation according to Hotels & Resorts Standards & Procedures such as ;
The Yearly Security Audit
Mystery Shopping Audit
LRA Audit
Safety , Health and Environment Audit
Others
Keep closely monitoring for the Risk aspects and prevent the loss and give all concerned informed.
Implement and campaign for the new activities / programme me to increase more efficiency of works in related field.
Co-ordinate with Security Company ( Supplier ) or Security Inspector regarding shortage of man power , finding someone failed by the Hotel Rules & Regulation, the promptly equipments or other issue concerned
Strictly supervise and measure the Vehicles, Visitors & Passenger Assess Control process.
Do the Investigation Process
Update the Quarterly Emergency & Crisis Management Plan
Supervise and control for all Department & Outlet Keys Inventory quarterly.
Participate or be a member of the Safety , Health and Environment Committee
Support the Human Resources by Co-ordination with Police Forensic if the Yearly Associate Finger Print scheduled.
Co-ordinate with the Snake farm if the Random Snake Search scheduled.
Update the Monthly Associate Photos & Name list and Security
Update the Monthly FBT & ERT Name list and other emergency contact details.
Supervise and Control or maintain the CCTV System for the proper use.
Analyze and evaluate the performing of Hotel Associate and Supplier.
Qualifications Standard :
Education: Bachelor Degree
Experience: 1-2 Years experience
