Security Manager - East Rand
A transnational engineering company in East Rand is actively seeking a Security Manager to implement/Manage security standards within the Group.
Roles and Responsibilities :
To design, implement and oversee all security related and fraud prevention functions in the company which has 12 sites/depots
Ensure standards are drafted for security management, enhance current security policies and procedures to meet changing circumstances.
Ensure correct security infrastructure is in place and maintained, CCTV systems are operational and parameter defenses are in place
Engage in ongoing threat and fraud investigations, including the design and implementation of incident response procedures
Implement and oversee the effectiveness of the developed site standards
Conduct security risk evaluations at sites
Monitoring compliance to physical security standards
Oversee and manage security vendors
Preparation of security budgets
Oversee Security vendors
Minimum Rquirements:
Diploma in Security Management
5 Years’ experience in a similar role
A sound working knowledge of security and fraud prevention best practice and legislation
Working knowledge of procedures to be followed in cases of theft, pilfering, civil unrest and emergency evacuations plans (all incidents)
Salary:
35K - 45K
