Manager: Recoveries Operations

Location : Midrand, Johannesburg

Key Responsibility Areas
· Manage live case unit in accordance with SLA
· Craft, implement, manage and monitor theft & hijacking preventative strategies
· Attending to escalated calls and cases
· Achieve recovery rate of no less than 90% and for the Company Jamming Resist
   tracking device , 100%
· Management of Company recovery teams and service providers and ensure SLA’s are achieved
· Represent the Company at identified crime prevention forum meetings
· Main point of contact for the subcontracted fleet recovery teams
· Liaise with SAPS and the recovery crews when they are in pursuit of stolen trucks / vehicles
· Join field crews when needed
· Assist relevant parties with investigations
· Assist in other areas of the contact centre when needed

Education and Experience Required
· Matric
· At least 5 years’ experience in crime fighting
· Experience and good working knowledge of SAPS system to understand, manage and coordinate       live cases and investigations
· Proven ability to professionally engage with individuals and fleet clients
· Certified to operate firearms and make arrests
· Thorough Geographical Knowledge of South Arica
· Solid interactive network with SAPS and other crime prevention bodies
· Computer Literate in MS Office suite
