Job Introduction:
G4S Cash Solutions has a vacancy for a Tactical Support Unit Officer (TSU)
Role Responsibility:
Execution of high risk tactical security tasks to include but not limited to: Escorting and protection of high value assets in transit, provision of executive or close protection and Security checks on vehicles and facilities.
The relevant scope of work will vary from the provision of mobile tactical support to multiple G4S business units, Close Protection to VIP’s and dignitaries, high risk escorting and guarding, secure aviation transfers, event security, mobile training teams and at times support into African countries.
The Ideal Candidate:
Minimum Matric Certificate/Grade 12
Must be Computer literate
PSIRA Grade A certification and registration
A valid code 10 drivers licence with PDP is an advantage
Previous TSO experience will be an advantage
Pistol, Shotgun & Rifle Firearm Competency
Police, military or 2 years in CIT, 3 years in tactical armed response or high risk intervention role advantageous
Close Protection Officer (CPO) - SASSETA accredited qualification
Must be medically and physically fit to execute tactical intervention tasks
Must be able to wear full operational equipment on extended shifts
