ADT Security is looking for a Community Security Manager to identify, initiate, maintain and grow effective community relationships that will actively support our local market share growth strategies both proactively and reactively.
Main duties:
Actively promoting and selling community solutions
Interaction with sales to drive client numbers within schemes
In conjunction with the District Sales Manager to drive profitability within schemes
In conjunction with the Client Services Manager and Shared Services to track and put in place strategies to decrease attrition in the community
In conjunction with operations to identify and track crime trends and address community solutions
Liaise with the Community Support Manager to ensure effective communication within the Community
Utilise results from community satisfaction services to address concerns within the community
Strong networking skills in the market
Monitor and manage competitor activity
Establish good relationships with CPF’s, SAPS and Communities
Analyse suburb specific information ie new client, attrition, terminations, crime and terminations to facilitate effective management of Region
Coordinate information re market share movement and trends
Actively Promote and drive “own the territory branding” to increase visibility
Attending CPF Meetings and present when necessary
Administration, reports, statistics and detailed assessments of sites
Initiate and drive newsletters & promotional flyers to the specific requirement of the various schemes
Inculcate a strong focus on safety first and EHS Standards within the Region
Actively work towards enhancing employee engagement

Minimum qualification and experience:
· Matric
· SMDP Course
· Formal qualification (or studying toward) Marketing /PR or equivalent advantageous
· Minimum of 5 years previous managerial experience
· Sound knowledge of the Security Industry
· Customer Care experience essential
· Computer Literate (MS office, email, Internet- essential)
· Listener experience preferable
· Role requires flexible or extended hours
