Salary: R23,000.00 /month
Location: Boksburg, Gauteng
The Objective of the driver is to ensure the safe keeping and protection of the VIP at all times, furthermore to keep abreast with any possible irregularities from departure to destination to ensure the safe keeping VIP. The awareness of the immediate surrounding whilst driving the VIP and reporting all irregularities or possible threats to the supporting structure for be it back up or safe evacuation of the immediate threat. Familiarization with VIP’s preference of restaurants and or meeting places.
Key Performance areas :
Hours of work will be 06:30 to end of working day Monday to Friday. Working hours will be subject to change depending on the roster/schedule provided.
As when required attend functions after hours with VIP.
Transport VIP customer from their residence to and from office, meetings and functions safely.
Transport VIP as and when required to and from the airport.
Work overtime as and when required by VIP, Referring to schedule provided.
Complete daily, weekly time sheets and SITREP ( That includes testing of all equipment and ensuring update of emergency numbers )
Medical and protection equipment to be checked daily to ensure it is available and kept in serviceable order.
Follow medical and emergency procedures as per SOP.
Upkeep, Maintenance of VIP vehicle that will include service bookings as and when required.
Complete and submit Weekly inspection report for vehicle to ensure necessary medical and protection equipment is adequate.
Fuel and wash/clean vehicle. Responsible for fuel and cleanliness of vehicle.
Coordinate with the VIP’s Executive Assistant on daily, weekly and monthly for VIP diary planning.
Provide exceptional service at all times.
Display professional image, appearance and behaviour at all times.
Ensure compliance with all road safety procedures and adhere policies and confidentiality agreement.
Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with VIP, client Security Management and allocated personnel etc.
Skills , Experience and criteria
The criteria for VIP Driver:
Min Grade A security graded.
Fire arm competency for min 9 mm pistol and trained in the use thereof.
Experienced driver that have undergone advance driver/ defensive training.
Good observation skills .
First Aid trained.
Need to agree to be drug tested.
Need to agree to undergo Monthly Polygraph test.
Need to agree to Criminal Clearance check .
Will sign a None Disclosure / Confidentiality agreement.
Required education:
High school or equivalent
Required experience:
VIP Driver: 3 years
VIP Protection: 3 years
Required licences or certifications:
First Aid Trained
PSIRA Graded Min Grade A
