Job Introduction:
Management of the investigations teams and compliance of branches in managing risk
Role Responsibility:
Effective management of investigations within the company and in compliance with legislation and G4S
policy.
Ensure that all incidents / allegations of criminal activity involving G4S customers and employees are investigated.
Ensure that all accidents resulting in injury, damage or loss involving G4S employees are investigated.
Manage the process for case dockets for each investigation, recording all relevant information, witnesses and securing evidence required for a criminal prosecution, disciplinary process or liability claim.
Implement and maintain effective management of case dockets, ensuring that appropriate processes and actions are initiated, finalized and recorded.
Build, maintain and manage database on cases, along with reporting on statistics
Assist with customer meetings on investigations
Manage and mitigate the risk control process within the company.
Identify and recruit informers, to ensure effective information gathering within the region regarding criminal activity impacting on G4S customers.
Establish, report and audit branches on corrective actions to be taken.
Audit, investigate and promote compliance with company policies and procedures
Management of vetting process and polygraphs within the organization
Manage the process for the issuing of Company firearms and licenses by the SAPS as prescribed by the Firearms Control ACT, Act 60 of 2000 and to ensure that G4S Cash complies with the Act.
Ensure effective liaison with SAPS, Commissioners and legal bodies.
Establish and maintain effective communication with local SAPS structures.
Provide appropriate assistance to SAPS officials to ensure criminal prosecution of cases investigated on behalf of G4S customers.

Manage the budget/expenses
Review, analyse and explain major variances to the budget on a monthly basis.
Ensure the expense mandates follow audit procedures.
Prepare annual input for budgetary purposes
Manage Capex budget

The Ideal Candidate:
Minimum qualification
5 - 10 years experience in a similar position
PSIRA Grade A
Grade 12
