Job Introduction: 
G4S Cash Solutions (SA), a leading global integrated security solutions company has an immediate vacancy for a Branch Manager for the Talent Pool we running 
Role Responsibility: 
Effective Labour Management 
Ensure that there are adequate staff for both admin and operations and that all new appointments are duly authorized before making an offer of employment, as well as fully compliant with current legislation.
Control Overtime Costs
Ensure that no “ghost employees” reflect on earnings analyses Familiarize him/her with current Industrial Relations trends and labour law to effectively apply disciplinary action. 
Effective Risk Management 
Vehicle Security 
Assessing maximum values on vehicles and take insurance restriction into account
Ensure that vehicles do not exceed stipulated amounts
Arrange escorts where necessary
Ensure that Armored vehicles are used and that guards are armed
Ensure that Vehicle interlocking systems are functioning
Ensure that locks/ vault areas are secure
Ensure that bullet proofing is effective
Ensure that CPC’s are functioning
Ensure that Radio’s are functioning
Submit daily reports 
  
Branch Security 
  
Ensure that opening and closing procedures adhered to
Ensure that alarms systems are working and test daily
Ensure where installed that CCTV’s are functional
Ensure that first line defense i.e. gates/ walls are effective
Ensure that second line defense i.e. doors/windows are effective secured
Ensure that fire and emergency drills are practiced at every level
Ensure that counting house/ box room security systems are continually reviewed 
Employee Training, Development and record keeping 
Ensure that Counting House and Boxroom staff are efficiently trained and aware of standard operating procedures and a set of clear consequences for deviating from procedures
Ensure that training needs are identified for all employees and that it is plotted on the personal development plans for each employee and submitted to the learning and development department
Ensure that all statutory training requirements are adhered to i.e. Fire –Arm training and PSIRA regulatory training
Ensure that a personnel file is maintained for each employee 
  
Branch growth, profitability and customer service 
Monitor and assess the market environment
Ensure that all new quotes are done at profitable margins
Ensure that direct and overhead costs are controlled
Ensure that all customers are serviced as per the SLA agreement 
Management of Company assets 
Ensure that that proper costs controls exits and that a planned system of maintenance is followed on company vehicles
Ensure that all building assets are maintained according to company standard and image
Ensure that all security equipment are accounted for by means of registers(radios, fire-arms etc)
Ensure that Cash Floats are correctly used and maintained 
  
Branch Financial Management 
Ensure that all services that are being delivered are paid for and that recurring revenue is checked every month and verified
Ensure that the bulk account is not overdrawn
Ensure that funds are not drawn from the bulk account
Ensure that cheque books are security logged
Ensure that terminated clients are removed from client codes and invoicing immediately 
The Ideal Candidate:

·Deliver a superior, market leading service to customers through robust operational management, including effective labour management and cost controls.

·Effective leadership, development and management of staff. 
Key Attributes and Competencies 
Grade 12
5 -8 years management experience.
PSIRA Registered, Grade B
Valid Drivers Licence
