A vacancy exists for a CONTROLLER stationed at our DURBAN branch office. The position will report to Controlroom Manager. The controllers are responsible for the effective functioning of the control room and the monitoring of services to clients.
Key Performance Areas: (Not totally inclusive)
· Informing duty managers of incidents as and when required
· Dispatching of guards
· Ensuring that all sites are covered
· Able to record all incidents in a Occurrence Book (OB) as well as in a Electronic OB
· Receiving complaints and informing management accordingly
· Ale to transfer knowledge to guards accordingly
· Able to exercise and maintain discipline
· Able to follow instructions accurately
Minimum Requirements:
· Grade 12
· Grade B SIRA (SOB) registered and accredited, with traceable references
· A minimum of two years’ experience in the security industry Control room
· Fluent in English
