Purpose
To manage and oversee the maintenance of predetermined levels of protection for Vodacom Regional
 facilities, personnel and network infrastructure for the regions in the north
 
Objectives  
 The formulation of end-user requirements and the management of the implementation of ALL security systems and measures for new and existing facilities.
 Manage the supervision, co-ordination and administration of ALL contracted security companies, their assigned personnel and any deployed electronic security systems.
 Responsible for the investigation and follow up of ALL security related incidents in the regions under control.
 Assist the Risk Management Fraud Investigation Team with regards to ALL security related incidents.
 Monitoring agreed to service levels (SLA’s) with contracted service providers.
 Accountable for ALL security management reports.
 Ensure northern regions compliance to all security related requirements including various physical inspections of all buildings and surrounding property (leased and owned as well as performing and/or coordinating risk assessments as would be required.
 Liaison with all Regional Vodacom clients.
 Manage the administration of the access control and CCTV system and any other security systems where applicable
 Management and supervision of Regional security specialists under area of control
 Management of budgets (OPEX and CAPEX)
