Our client is searching for a Security Training Manager at their Johannesburg based Training Centre The ideal candidate will be responsible for addressing the operational training needs at all of the Gauteng branches
The suitable candidate minimum requirements includes
A relevant training qualification
PSIRA Grade A Instructor qualification
Practical understanding of all PSIRA registration and training processes
Proven security management PSIRA and SASSETA training experience
Business acumen with a good understanding of training the functions and applicable legislation
MS Office suite proficient
Sound knowledge of physical guarding operational needs and training synergies
Strong ability to work under pressure and meet multiple deadlines
Ability to build and maintain working relationships
Must be a team player by nature and have the ability to operate independently
The suitable candidates key responsibilities and duties includes
The sourcing screening selecting training and placement of security officers
Manage and plan external and internal training initiatives
Liaison with recruiting and training agencies and apply best practices guidelines
Establish and maintaining a relevant and up to date database of possible suitable candidates
Efficient handling of all matters relating to training including all PSIRA / Ubuntu and SASSETA training
Enforcing
discipline within the training process and ensure the companys
induction process for new recruits is adhered to in order to ensure
quality output to the various branches
Administrating the electronic recruitment systems as well as maintaining the SIA employee database
Ensuring that applicants are dealt with in a professional manner at all times
The suitable candidate must have
Good written & verbal communication skills
Own transport / cell phone
The ability to communicate and present at all levels
The ability to work under pressure
Proven training track record in the Security Industry
