Location: Northern Cape
Position Purpose:
The incumbent will be responsible for the investigation of diamond theft, crime and/or security related incidents with the aim of establishing the causes and impact to the company and its Operations and implements measures to prevent such incidents in future.
Minimum Requirements:
Grade 12
National Diploma in Security Management, or equivalent
PSIRA Grade A
5 years’ experience in Security Investigations in a mining environment
Computer Literate (MS Office Suite)
Valid driver’s license
Responsibilities:
Investigate all security and crime related incidents
Implement an investigation and crime related strategy to address and destabilise those targeting the company’s property, product and interests
Co-ordinate the collection, processing and dissemination of investigations for appropriate decision making
Process security and crime related information advice management on appropriate action
Conduct awareness campaigns to make the workforce aware of policies and procedures
Ensure personal and co-worker adherence to Security and Company SHE objectives
