Introduction... Murray & Roberts Power and Energy invite suitably qualified candidates to apply for the position of Security & Facilities Adviso for Kusile Site reporting to the Emergency & Security Coordinator . The project entails the building of 6 x 780 MW Coal Fired Super Critical Boiler for the coal fired Kusile Power Station to be erected at the Kusile Site at Mpumalanga ,Witbank, South Africa.
EXPERIENCE
Suitable candidates must have the following work experience:
• A Minimum of 5 years’ experience within the SADF/ SAPS
• A Minimum of 5 years’ experience within the construction field
• Experience in HIRA
• Compiling reports and maintaining of HSSE documentation
• Experience in Security Management
QUALIFICATIONS:
Suitable candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications and skills:
Security Management (Must)
HSE Knowledge (Must)
OSH Act Knowledge (Must)
Knowledge of the Criminal Procedure Act (Must)
National Defence Force/ SAPS experience (Must)
Computer skills - skills in word, excel, power point (presentations, report writing & stats) (Must)
Good communication skills and the ability to deal with all different levels of employees of the organisation

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
To implement the internal security & facilities management, in order to provide an essential measurement tool to determine whether the requirements of the Security system, Client Specifications and Legal Requirements have been implemented, maintained and remains effective.
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE’S RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO:
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:
Security
Assist in the management of the third party security service provider
Serve as a liaison with local law enforcement/ Eskom security
Conduct investigation of security related incidents
Complete security related reports
Monthly inspections of company provided accommodation, scheduled/ non-scheduled
Available after hours/ stand-by
Develop, recommend and implement proactive protection plans to ensure the safety of personnel and staff (including ex-pats)
